I would like to say thank you to The Major Goldsmith Fund INC. 

Mr. Goldsmith has helped me on more than one occasion. Right before my deployment to Iraq, the place my family and I where renting went into foreclosure. We didn't have enough money to get out and put all the security deposits. The Major Goldsmith fund Inc. stepped in and helped us. Thank god, my mind was suddenly put to ease knowing my family had a home while I was going to be away for a year. The fund has also helped me with a car and paying bills. Ken and Elise Natoli along with Jim Goldsmith even helped with Christmas for my kids, right out of their own pockets. After my deployment to Africa in 2016 I returned, started working for the Sheriff's Office. I now own my own business and look forward to helping other vet's just like myself. Jim Goldsmith is a great man!  The Major Goldsmith Fund has been a game changer in my families lives.  

When the Coronavirus pandemic hit our country, I was one of the millions of Americans who either lost their job or had their hours cut to the point that we could not pay our bills. After Mr. Goldsmith already paid our car and insurance payment out of his pocket, The Major Goldsmith Fund paid our next rent and got our family through this difficult period until we were able to get back on our feet. Without this amazing organization we would have been in serious hardship. We are forever grateful for Mr. Goldsmith and the incredible work of the Major Goldsmith Fund.

I am a long serving veteran. My career started in 1976 as a medical corpsman and ended in 1995 as an RN in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp. after Desert Storm. I met Mr. Goldsmith watching NFL football and supported his Major Goldsmith Fund veterans fundraiser he had shortly thereafter.  I never thought in my life I would need his help ! I had taught nursing for years but lost my job and incurred health issues as things got worse. His MGF helped me keep my head just above water by paying my rent and several past due bills. Mr. Goldsmith also showed me how to reduce my overhead and downsize my life!

Jim is a true friend as he picked up many tabs out of his pocket. He and his charity were there for me and I will always be grateful. I look forward to supporting his next event. He didn't just give me a check but he directed me in changing my life!!

In Oct. 2010 I was returning from my tenth tour in the Middle East and separating from the U.S. Air Force because of injury. I was actively looking for work with no avail as no employer would hire a disabled worker with my skill set. Things got so bad for my family and I that I could no longer afford rent, buy food or the everyday things that are required  for living. I went to the local VSO office and was given the tel. # for Mr. Jim Goldsmith. Soon after I met with Jim,  he checked me out and offered his most generous help ! Thru The Major Goldsmith Fund he assisted with rent and other bills. He asked me to write an essay for a contest about my combat experiences and I won a Ford minivan. Those acts of his meant the world to me !! When I thought that was too much Jim and Elise Natoli bought ( out of their pockets ) Christmas for my three children. Amazing !

Those acts of kindness turned my life around completely. I went back to college to finish my Bachelors Degree and I got a job with the Federal Gov't. in 2016. I contribute all these opportunities to the hand up, certainly not a hand out, from Jim Goldsmith and his charity.Since then I have helped veterans from my pocket just to pay it forward. I cannot thank Jim and his M. G. F. charity enough for their generosity and opportunities that were afforded to me . I gained a great friend in Jim and will gladly assist his Fund in any way I can !
